Snacking In The Parks: Candy Cane Beignets for Holiday Time

It's Holiday Time in Disneyland! Not only is it one of my favorite time's of the year but it also means new food offerings! There are candy cane beignets at the park and you can get these at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square! They are the same delicious beignets you would normally get but with the addition of crushed candy canes! The peppermint of the candy canes pairs perfectly with the freshly made beignets and a new favorite in the park!

Snacking In The Parks: Butterscotch Beignets #Halloweentime

The butterscotch beignets are brand new to Disneyland this year for Halloween Time! I was looking forward to trying these but thought they could have added more of the butterscotch sugar. You do not really get the butterscotch flavor thta I would have expected. Maybe the pumpkin beignets will come back next year!

Sasaki Time's Disneyland 60th Series: Return of The Hatbox Ghost (May 9th, 2015)

On May 9th, 2015 a long awaited friend has re-materialized in the world famous Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and just in time for the park's 60th Anniversary! The Hatbox Ghost has returned and as you can see from my photo above he looks amazing!

FastPass that is usually now reserved for Haunted Mansion Holiday looks like it will return as well as long lines have arrived to welcome back their long lost friend!


Here is a video of the Hatbox Ghost that I shot while the doombuggies were stopped just to the side of the Hatbox Ghost!

Disneyland Photo Report - Haunted Mansion Area and Grounds, Big Thunder and The Castle at Night

Welcome to another Disneyland Photo Report! This time I am taking you through the area surrounding The Haunted Mansion as well as it's grounds. Then we hike around the Rivers of America to Big Thunder Mountain Railraod at night and then into Fantasyland and through the Castle to end the night!

The best thing about a Disney Theme Park is that there is detail everywhere you look. It's always nice to be able to come into the park with no agenda and just stop, look around and take photos!

So many great details here around the area used for Haunted Mansion Holiday FastPass.

This is one of my favorite spots. It's getting tougher and tougher to find quiet spots in Disneyland. Do you have a favorite quiet spot in Disneyland? Please share in the comments below.

Time to say goodbye to The Haunted Mansion as a mountain peaks my interest.

Big Thunder is back and the lines heading straight to the attraction in the morning at rope drop tell you how badly it was missed! Photos here are beautiful anytime of the day but here we are at night.

The Imagineers created this amazing rock work and add cactus and trees and you really like you are out in the desert.

The old tunnel that was once part of Nature's Wonderland, the attraction that made way for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I have always hoped that something would be built over there. Back in the late 1990s, something almost did get built there. Do you know what almost was going to be built there? Post in the comments below what you think that would have been or if you want to see an article on it.

This makes me think of camping as a kid. Time to go and gather wood to build a fire.
