4K Digital Review of The Devil Wears Prada 2

The Devil Wears Prada 2 focuses on the original characters twenty years later. When the first movie came out, the iPhone was a year away and social media was yet to be a thing. So, exploring the fashion industry in today's world, is a very interesting take.

The film opens with Anne Hathaway's Andy Sachs accepting an award for her entire journalist team and finding out they have all just been fired. Andy finds her way back to Miranda Priestley's (Meryl Streep) Runway Magazine and our story goes from there.

Watching both Priestly and Sachs dealing with social media trends and short attention spans is all too relevant. Having run my own site for over 15 years made the story very compelling to me. I really liked that instead of handling this in a cynical way, they took a how do we adapt and survive to change approach.
