White Hot Chocolate (adult and kid versions)


Ingredients:

  • ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • tablespoons brandy (optional)
  • candy cane


Directions:

    Combine the chopped chocolate and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
  2. 2
    Combine the milk and cream and heat over medium heat until simmering. Immediately pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and whisk to melt.

    Add the brandy and pour into glass or ceramic mugs. Hang the candy cane over the edge of the mug and serve.

Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Recipe


Ingredients:


  • cups
     milk
  • ounces chocolate, chopped (3 squares)
  • red and white striped peppermint candies, crushed
  • small red and white striped candy canes
  • whipped cream


Directions:

    In a sauce pan bring the milk to a simmer.
  2. 2
    Add the chocolate and crushed candies.
  3. 3
    Whisk until smooth.
  4. 4
    Divide hot cocoa between 4 mugs and garnish with whipped cream and serve with a candy cane stirring stick.

Kahlua Hot Chocolate Recipe!


Ingredients:

1 (1/3 ounce) packet instant powdered cocoa mix
1 cup water
1 ounce Kahlua
Toppings
cinnamon, pinch (optional)
whipped cream (optional)
mini marshmallows (optional)



Directions:

Boil water in microwave or on stove top.


While stirring, mix cocoa packet with water.


Add kahlua and stir well.


Add toppings, if desired.

Hot Chocolate Float Recipe!

Makes 1 float
Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 envelope powdered cocoa mix
chocolate-chip mint ice cream

Directions:

1 In a 2-cup measure microwave water, uncovered, on 100% power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or till steaming hot.
2 Stir in cocoa mix.
3 Pour into a mug.
4 Top hot chocolate with a small scoop of ice cream.
