PHOTOS FROM DISNEY’S “JUNGLE CRUISE” WORLD PREMIERE AT DISNEYLAND

Last night at Disneyland, stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall and Veronica Falcón were joined by director Jaume Collet-Serra and producers John Davis, John Fox, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Beau Flynn for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of Disney’s “Jungle Cruise.”

“Jungle Cruise” releases simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access this coming Friday, July 30, 2021.

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.

Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. The producers are John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment; Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions; and Beau Flynn of Flynn Picture Co., with  Scott Sheldon and Doug Merrifield serving as executive producers. The story is by John Norville & Josh Goldstein and  Glenn Ficarra & John Requa, and the screenplay is by Michael Green and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa.

Snacking In The Parks: Chocolate Covered Strawberries Dole Whip Hack

Take a look at this beauty! Chocolate covered strawberries with with a dole whip! No, this is not the latest Disneyland creation but one you can make yourself!

I started this simple hack by purchasing a strawberry and chocolate cup from Tropical Imports in Adventureland and then headed off to purchase a dole whip. I then took a seat over at the Jolly Holiday and took the stems off the strawberries and placed then to make it look as visually appealing as I could. Then I drizzled the chocolate from the chocolate cup all over the strawberries and dole whip! That's how simple that was! Dig in and enjoy! You're welcome!

Snacking In The Parks: Disneyland Food Hack - Dole Whip/Dole Whip Float with Tajín

Take a look at this awesome Disneyland dole whip hack! Don't worry about smuggling your own tajín into the park! Tajín is a combination of ground chili peppers, salt and dehydrated lime juice! It blends perfectly with the sweetness of the pineapple by adding some spice and salt!

Just head over to Tropical Imports next to the Jungle Cruise and pick up a packet of tajín! It's free!

Then head over to get your dole whip or your dole whip float!

Rip open the packet and pour generously over your dole whip or your dole whip float! And yes it is as awesome as you would think it would be! My favorite is with the dole whip float! Make sure you bring an extra packet for the dole whip float! After you are done eating some of the dole whip, stir the rest of it into the pineapple juice with some extra tajín!

Sasaki Time's Dapper Tour of Walt Disney's Disneyland! The Jungle Cruise!

Our Dapper Tour of Walt Disney's Disneyland continues in Adventureland! This time we will focus on the Jungle Cruise, still here and still popular since Opening Day! On the months leading up to Opening Day, Walt featured the Jungle Cruise on many episodes of his television show, making this attraction one of the most eagerly anticipated.

The beautiful entrance to the world famous Jungle Cruise.

The upper boathouse queue was not originally here and is a more recent addition to the attraction but the view from here makes it look like Adventureland is vast and goes on deep into the horizon.

A boat of tourists returning from their epic trek into the wild unknown. It doesn't look like everyone returned!

I believe I have found my new fishing spot! I hope there are no piranhas!

Having boarded our boat, we wave goodbye to those on the dock and we are off into the jungle! We say goodbye to civilization and hope for a safe journey.

Our first major sighting is a very large and hungry tiger with some alligator friends all in a ruined ancient city. Hopefully we will discover more on our journey!

One of the most feared creatures in all the jungle! Insert elephant or mother-in-law joke here! Our skipper's words, not mine!

We are mesmerized by the beauty of the jungle! But where there is beauty there is also danger!

We are approaching one of the most rare sights in all the jungle! The backside of water!

More tourists on their way! Hope they have as safe a journey as we did!

We are approaching the return to civilization! Here is the friendly native Trader Sam! I hear he has a special today! Two of his heads for one of yours!

Kristen and I have returned safely to civilization! We hope you enjoyed the second of our series of Sasaki Time's Dapper Tour of Walt Disney's Disneyland with a look at the Jungle Cruise!

Look for more in the series as we take closer looks at some of the attractions here when Walt was here!

Disneyland Trip Report - Random HDR Photos

Welcome to another Disneyland photo report. This time just having some fun and taking HDR photos in the park.
The model of the capitol building inside Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln.
The Mark 1 armor inside of Innoventions at the Iron Man Tech exhibit. It still looks like it can dish out a good thrashing.
The 30-60-90 triangle outside the Innoventions building.
The Moonliner rocket looks like it can take off at any moment.
Space Mountain is ready for you.
The castle looms over the rocks of Tomorrowland.
The Astro-Orbitor reaches towards the sky.
The sky is taking a turn for the worse as we approach the castle.
The Tangled Tower, the castle and the Matterhorn just about all lined up as more clouds roll in.
Looks like it may be time to go and find shelter.
Time to quickly head into Adventureland before the clouds say it is time to leave.
I love how this photo came out.
One more quick photo of the jungle before the clouds came in and the rain came down.

Hope you enjoyed a quick random HDR photo shoot in Disneyland. Look for more photos soon!
