- After the fireworks, come celebrate in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, where a DJ will be spinning tunes for everyone until 5 a.m.
- Royal Swing Ball presents a live band in the Royal Theatre at Fantasy Faire from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- Stop by the Tomorrowland Terrace for a live band in the evening and a late night Rock Your Disney Side Dance Party that lasts until 5 a.m.
There’s even more fun to be had over at Disney California Adventure Park:
- You can enjoy live music throughout the day and night at the Paradise Garden Bandstand, with performances scheduled from 11:55 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
- Extra performances are planned for “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” at 9:30 a.m. and “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” at 7:55 p.m.
- Muppets Theater plays host to sing-along screenings of the Academy Award-winning film, “Frozen,” starting at 11:30 a.m. And don’t forget to check out the sneak peek of “Maleficent” in the Bug’s Life Theater.
- “World of Color” will be presented on Paradise Bay at 9:45 p.m. and again at 3 a.m.
- Head on down to Pacific Wharf from 10:30 p.m. – 5 a.m. for The Wharf Dance Party.
- Mad T Party adds some spice to the night. You can rock ‘n’ roll your Disney Side with the Mad T Party Band and White Rabbit DJ, from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.

The Carolwood-Pacific Railroad, Inspiration for the Disneyland Railroad
In 1947, Walt bought a new electric train and wanted to show it off. He brought it over to Walt Disney Studios and knew exactly who to show it to: Ward Kimball and Ollie Johnston, the animators behind Jiminy Cricket and Thumper, and fellow train enthusiasts. He quickly learned that they each had impressive trains of their own - but theirs were big enough to ride in their backyards! So, of course, Walt had to have one of his own. A few years later, in 1950, he had the perfect spot for his train: the backyard of his home on Carolwood Drive. Take a look back as Walt tests out his Carolwood-Pacific Railroad in the footage below, which originally appeared in the 1956 television show, "Where Do The Stories Come From?" Star Wars Droid Factory coming to Tomorrowland in Disneyland
I am excited that Disneyland is getting a Droid Factory. Here you can assemble your own droid and package them in a Star Wars figure package. You can build on that looks just like R2D2 or make your own from various droid parts. And of course there are Disney accessories for your droids such as Mickey Mouse ears, an Indiana Jones fedora and even Jack Sparrows hat!
The new experiences will feature more build stations for guests to make their own droid action figures. They were designed as a square, which can accommodate up to four guests at one time (that’s two more build stations than the current version at Tatooine Traders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios).
I can't wait to build my own droid and as always I will post pics!
