Vehicle Review: 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited - Titanic, a Wedding and a Food Adventure!
Hi everyone! It's Jason from Sasaki Time and it is time for another vehicle review! This time it is for the 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited! The 2018 version has received a significant refresh. The lines were changed to give the Sonata a more family vehicle vibe.
There are large LED headlights and taillights, the headlights have dynamic bending light technology to light your way as the roads curve to help you to see around the bend, LED daytime running lights, large 17-inch alloy wheels, and heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators.
Time to hop into the driver's seat and meet a friend to see the 20th Anniversary re-release of Titanic.
Hard to believe that it has been 20 years since the movie Titanic hit theaters. For the 20th Anniversary release, Titanic was mastered for Dolby's premiere Dolby Cinema Theater. This is by far my favorite way to see a movie. Dolby partnered with AMC and has created the perfect way to watch a movie. The theater is a equipped with a floor to ceiling and wall to wall screen, a perfectly blacked out theater, Dolby Atmos speakers, a Dolby vision projector that produces the inkiest blacks, and perfectly aligned stadium seats that are angled at the edges to still provide the best view of the screen.
Watching Titanic in Dolby Cinema was like watching this movie for the very first time. The colors were sharp and breathtaking and you can feel the roar of the engines and feeling the rush of the flooding waters gave a bigger sense of urgency to get out of the ship. A truly amazing experience and hope that Dolby partners with more filmmakers to bring older films to this format for limit releases.
Take a 360 degree look at the interior. As you can see there is a lot of leg room for both the front and the rear passengers. There are power front seats with integrated memory seat for the driver's seat, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a power tilt and slide sunroof.

Restaurant Review: Samurai Burrito! Sushi Burritos and Sushi Nachos!
Time for another restaurant review! This time I am headed to Fountain Valley and Samurai Burrito! Think of this as the subway for sushi. In this day of customizable food, these guys have a great take on the sushi roll!
They have a pretty extensive menu so it will be tough to make a decision.
So many awesome choices!
And if you want to customize your roll you can do that as well! So the possibilities are endless!
Here you can see all the wrapping options.
Once you put in your order they quickly assemble your sushi roll!
Lil Oishi loves the milk tea! It's so smooth and sweet!
Check out the amazing Samurai Super Nachos! This is big enough to share with two or more friends as an awesome appetizer! They make a half order as well if you would like! But this massive amount of amazingness is filled with spicy tuna, salmon, eel, masago, crab, onions, and wonton chips! Such an amazing idea and I would gladly order this every time I come here!
I went with the Kamikazu Roll which was rice, seared albacore, garlic, onions, avocado, crab, cucumber, rising onion sauce and wrapped in their Samurai Togarashi with chili peppers. The flavors are fantastic and you can tell how fresh everything is. Such a great idea to have a massive sushi roll in your hands!
Now that is an epic meal!
If you still have room they have a great selection of desserts! I was so full and passed but I will get something next time for sure!
Besides the baked goods, they also have a wonderful selection of Japanese goodies like my favorite KitKats!
So come in and bring some friends! You will love the Mexican fusion take on the sushi roll!

Restaurant Review: Dami Sushi & Izakaya in Buena Park
Time to check out the latest Japanese restaurant in Southern California. Welcome to Dami Sushi & Izakaya in Buena Park.
I love the glass water bottle. They are happy to bring another bottle as soon as you finish this one.
A little edamame arrives while you go through the menu.
A little tsukemono arrives as well. The presentation is quite rustic and I found that to be charming. Like being in the country where things are just simpler.
My friend Anthony and I had arrived hoping to order one of their dinner combos but were informed that they are no longer offering them. We found out from the owner later that the reason they are not offering them is that there are so many dishes that it overwhelmed the kitchen and then it meant that customers were not getting a good dining experience. So they are trying to figure out how to streamline that process and then bring it back. So we were a little sad but understood this and decided to order a few items and try them out with hopes the dinner combo comes back.
Anthony ordered the tempura oysters. The presentation was fantastic and the oysters were really nice and light. It was a pleasant surprise as there was no briny taste.
I ordered the D-clams as I love steamed manila clams. The white wine garlic butter sauce was amazing. And as you can see in the photo there was a ton of clams. I would gladly order this again.
We then decided to order the Dami box. This was a very eclectic group of sashimi. Not your typical sashimi and that made this a unique experience.
Delicious surf clam! A bit on the chewy side but so good!
Abalone! Quite a rare treat and happy to see this on here!
Some of the most tender octopus I have ever had!
I love seaweed! So light and flavorful!
The halibut isn't too unusual but still a nice on the palette.
The sea skirt was way too briny for me but yet another unique item of this set.
A wasabi octopus dish that I loved. I love wasabi and the fact that this was sort of a pickled octopus was just another great unique dish.
The chef also made us this lovely one piece salmon sushi and one piece tuna sushi.
This was the most tender melt in your mouth pieces of sashimi. When we talked to the owner we were informed that they buy fish that day. So you are getting the freshest sashimi there is.
Great food and service made for a very enjoyable experience. We will be back to try the dinner combo which I hope comes back soon to their menu.

Restaurant Review: Sake 2 Me AYCE Sushi Tustin!
As many of you know I love sushi and I have to go to an All You Can Eat (AYCE) place to get my fill. Typically the problem with AYCE places is that they skimp on the quality or the sashimi and usually increase the amount of rice to get you full faster and help save them on cost. But here is a place that has changed my thoughts on terms or sashimi quality and rice to sashimi ratio! Welcome to Sake 2 Me!
They start off your meal with these tasty sushi crab nachos. I don't really know what they are called but it is a spicy crab mixture on top of a crispy wanton that is meant to be like a tortilla chip. They bring you one per person and a good way to start off your meal.
They have a quite a few specials that are included on the AYCE like this amazing Cajun Popcorn Lobster Roll. So much great stuff and you can't even see the California rolls that it is sitting on!This is another one of their specials, a Rolly Polly Roll which is salmon, albacore or yellowtail stuffed with crab! This is the salmon you see here and you can see how thick the slices of sashimi are!
There are also a number of appetizers you can order like these delicious calamari tempura! The calamari is prepared perfectly and doesn't taste like rubber like you get from other places. I also like the onion ring size portions.
They also have baked mussels. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it and are one of my favorites!
I was surprised that they even have chicken katsu on their AYCA menu! This is one of my favorites and have to order it every time I come!
Here is one of our first sushi orders! Look at the colors! So many great flavors and the freshness is clearly there! Some places I have been to have fish that has been frozen and thawed and you can taste that something is not quite right.
Eel is one of my favorites and the ration from rice to eel is once again crazy as well. I have never seen larger slices of eel!
More salmon sushi and once again you can clearly see the rice to sashimi ratio here!
The last thing I usually order are hand rolls and of course I ordered a salmon handroll! Massive thick slices of salmon fill up this handroll!
This place can get really busy but the staff works hard to get your orders out to you!
