I challenged her with one of my favorite Lil Oishi logos! Rachel was kind enough to take us behind the scenes of the hard work she put into creating this unique piece of art for my wall!

Rachel started with sketching out the logo.

The Cronut at The Donuttery

The craze began in New York and you knew it was only a matter of time before others started to give it their own take. Here is The Donuttery's version of the cronut. What is a cronut you ask? Think of a donut and a croissant having a child and that is the cronut. It looks like a glazed donut but it light and airy like a croissant!
Take a look inside to see how light and airy it is! So delicious, but here at The Donuttery, you have more options than just the regular cronut.
For an additional dollar you can add fresh strawberries and whipped cream! There are several other options if this isn't your thing!
Lil Oishi is happy that the strawberry and whipped cream filled cronut is almost as tall as him!

Jurassic Park 05 and Pizza Planet Truck Meet at Joe's Italian Ice!

Hey everybody! We had a very successful turn out the other Sunday at the new Joe's Italian Ice location in Anaheim! Both of my favorite movie vehicles were on hand to take photos and talk with everyone who came out!

Let's take a closer look at the Pizza Planet Truck and Jurassic Park Jeep 05!
Here, of course the Pizza Planet Truck of Toy Story fame!
Here is the truck from the side! Notice the new rocket on top of the truck! It is a much larger one than what was up there previously!
Lil Oishi had to stand next to the new rocket!
Take a look at the interior of the truck! Love the detail of the LGMs (little green men) hanging from the rear view mirror! Plus, notice the gear shift ball? Why, it's the Pixar ball!
All the movie accurate details on the back of the truck!
Perhaps my favorite bumper sticker of all-time!
Lil Oishi loves KRAT FM!
Lil Oishi wanted to point out that the license plate is the same letters and numbers as in the movie!
They will let anyone drive! Ok no not really!
Getting ready to deliver pizza's with a smile!
Now, let's take a closer look at the Jurassic Park Jeep 05!
I love the hang tag and that suspicious looking can of "shaving cream"!
Taking a look at the interior!
That pith helmet is ready to be worn!
Something is hatching from those eggs! Why it's a baby raptor!
Silly dinosaur! Put Lil Oishi down!
Getting ready for an adventure!
Ready to head out and drive!
Such a comfortable seat! Hopefully we don't run into any fast moving carnivores out on the road!
Light check! Don't want to get stuck out in the jungle without lights!
One last look at both of my favorite movie cars! Look for another meet up soon and hopefully some fun new projects with both vehicles!

Snacking In The Parks! Disneyland Market House Starbucks!

Welcome to the first installment of Snacking In The Parks! I will be bringing you the best snacks or the latest snacks in The Disneyland Resort! For this first installment, let's check out the newly opened Starbucks on Main Street in Disneyland. Starbucks is located in the Market House.
Shall we go inside? We shall!
They did such a respectful job of theming this location to fit into the time period of Main Street!
Lots of tasty treats to choose from!
I love the wood fixtures! Some of the light fixtures appear to be re-purposed espresso machines!
I love that they kept as many of the original Market House items made it into the Starbucks location.
I was so happy to see that the party line phones remained!
Lil Oishi and I were both happy to see that the checkerboard was kept!
I was also happy to see that the old stove was kept as well!
Lil Oishi loved the bookcases!

The Imagineers did a fine job bringing Starbucks onto Main Street. I was worried about fitting a modern coffeehouse into a turn-of-the-century setting. But you can see that it blends perfectly. So, the next time you are in Disneyland stop in and grab your cup of coffee or tea!

Now, time to enjoy my salted caramel mocha frappuccino! And see you soon for another installment of Snacking In The Parks!
