Dapper Day Fall 2016 at Disneyland with The Dapper Avengers! Part 1
Dapper Day at Disneyland is one of my favorite days of the year! This Fall Dapper Day was my first group Disney Bound Day. Originally, just my friend Anthony and I were going to Disney Bound together as Captain America and Iron Man, but then we added my two lovely friends Ablla and Stephanie. Ablla went as Hulk and Stephanie as Thor. With that The Dapper Avengers were off to Dapper Day! We met up with my friend Kevin, who once again took all of the Dapper Day photos.
Even superheroes can be dapper! I love the Captain America shield umbrella that Stephanie hand painted for me! I cannot get over the color scheme for all of our outfits! The colors just pop!
One should not cause the Civil War in Disneyland! Just a fun, silly photo and I love Stephanie's Thor hammer purse that she made herself!
The safety of the castle is in very good hands!

Download Captain America Mask Template
How to make it
- Print the Captain America Mask on cardstock. Cut out the mask, including the wings and the eye holes. Be sure to cut along the solid blue lines on one side of each tab.
- Make all folds along the dashed lines away from you.
- Using glue or double-sided tape, secure each tab to the back of the mask.
- Fold each wing in half along the dashed line. Glue or tape the sides together so the wing design is double-sided. Glue or tape each wing to the sides of the mask where it is marked with a light blue rectangle. The wings should look like upside down hockey sticks, the wider part on top pointing toward the back of the mask.

Craft Time: Thor Helmet
Download Thor Helmet Template
How to make it
- Print the template on regular paper or cardstock and cut out the pieces.
- Starting with the front of the helmet, make all folds along dotted lines away from you. Using glue or double-sided tape, secure all tabs to their corresponding pieces.
- Three helmet straps have been provided. Cut out two straps, and attach one to each side of the helmet, aligning the black borders at the top and bottom of the straps with the corresponding black borders on the front of the helmet. Wrap the straps around your child's head to determine the exact size of the helmet. Secure the straps when you're satisfied with the fit. You may use the third strap if two are insufficient.
- Fold each wing in half along the dotted line, and secure so that the design is two-sided. Align each helmet wing with its corresponding shaded semicircle and secure with glue or tape.

Download Avengers Playset Template
How to make it
- Print the playset on regular paper or cardstock and cut out the pieces. Do not cut along the dotted lines – this is where you will fold the paper.
- Fold each piece in half along the dotted line. Using glue or double-sided tape, secure each piece so the design is two-sided. Do not glue or tape the tabs at the bottom, these will be used to make your pieces stand.
- Fold the tabs at the bottom of each piece in opposite directions; they should stand up like picture frames when finished.
- Cut out the background and prop it up. Add your Avengers and villains to the scenery and let the adventures begin!

"MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS" TO SCREEN FOR CREW OF INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION
“MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS” TO SCREEN FOR CREW OF
INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION
AFTER CONQUERING THE WORLD BOX OFFICE, THE RECORD-BREAKING SUPER HERO ACTIONER TAKES ON SPACE 220 MILES ABOVE EARTH
Burbank, CA (May 31, 2012) – Marvel Studios announced today that they arranged with NASA to transfer their record-breaking blockbuster film “Marvel’s The Avengers” to NASA’s Mission Control in Houston, which will uplink the film to the International Space Station (ISS), currently orbiting 220 miles above Earth. The film will then be screened for the space station crew’s exclusive enjoyment.
This screening continues Marvel’s collaboration with NASA, which began during principal photography of “Marvel’s The Avengers” when the film shot at the Space Power Facility at NASA’s Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio.
Louis D’Esposito, Marvel Studios’ Co-President and Executive Producer of “Marvel’s The Avengers,” says, “The studio is privileged to share ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ with those up in space exploring the universe. A special thanks goes to NASA for utilizing their incredible technology to make this special screening miles above us in space happen. It is a screening that would make Tony Stark envious.”
Films, books, and music offer important aspects of psychological support for astronauts on long-duration missions, such as those on the International Space Station (ISS). “These are the types of things that help to keep the crew connected to home, which is a huge morale boost while being away for long periods of time,“ said Dan Cook, Psychological Support Coordinator with Wyle, a contractor at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Aside from watching movies and television shows, ISS crewmembers have a number of options for their leisure and personal time, such as reading books or magazines, listening to music, and playing musical instruments.
The current space station mission is Expedition 31 and has a six-member crew consisting of 2 NASA Astronauts, 1 European Space Agency (ESA) Astronaut, and 3 Russian (RU) Cosmonauts as follows: Don Pettit (NASA), Joe Acaba (NASA), Andre Kuipers (ESA), Oleg Kononenko (RU), Gennady Padalka (RU), Sergei Revin (RU)
