Craft Time: Oswald The Lucky Rabbit Papercraft

What You'll Need
•
Regular paper or cardstock
•
Scissors
•
Glue or double-sided tape
How To Make It
  • 1
Print the template on regular paper or cardstock and cut out the pieces. Be sure to cut along the white lines that create an "X" below Oswald's face. Make all folds along dotted lines. Do not fold the "H" tabs on Oswald's head.
  • 2
Using glue or double-sided tape, secure all "A" tabs at the front of Oswald's body to their corresponding pieces on his side.
  • 3
Close Oswald's body by securing all "B" tabs at the back of Oswald's body to their corresponding pieces on his side.
  • 4
Close Oswald's head by securing all tabs to their corresponding pieces, beginning with the "A" tabs and progressing in alphabetical order. Use the "H" tabs to secure Oswald's head to his body.
  • 5
Fold each of Oswald's arms and ears in half so the designs are two-sided; secure these pieces with glue or tape. Butterfly the tabs on each of Oswald's arms, and use them to attach the arms to his body. Be sure that Oswald's thumbs are pointing upward.
  • 6
Butterfly the tabs on each of Oswald's ears, and use them to attach the ears to his head. The tips of Oswald's ears should point outward. Once the ears are attached, you can bend one or both to add more life to the character.
  • 7
Oswald is finished! He should sit nicely at the edge of a bookshelf, counter, desk, or any other flat surface.
Notes
Cutting should be done by an adult.

Oswald Ears Coming to Disney Parks!

One of the most highly desired items created this year was an Oswald hat. The hat was created to celebrate the upcoming release of Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two on November 18. The hats were distributed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo and at San Diego Comic Con this past summer. A Disney Parks version will be released in late October/early November. The hat features a different Oswald logo than the previous hat but is still just as awesome (I intend to wear it while playing the game).
