Deep Fried Twinkie Recipe!

 
Serves 6
 
Ingredients:

6 Hostess Twinkies, frozen
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
flour, for dusting

Directions:

1 Heat oil in deep fryer to 380 / 400 degrees.
 
2 Combine wet ingredients in one bowl, whisk dry ingredients in separate bowl.
 
3 Combine both into one bowl blending together. Best to set in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
 
4 Place a wooden stick into end of twinkie, sprinkle with flour to create a light dusting on twinkie.
 
5 Dunk twinkie into mixture and then place in fryer.
 
6 Fry for 2 - 5 minutes, until golden brown on both sides. Remove, let oil drain, let set for a few minutes and the ENJOY.

Deep Fried Mars Bars Recipe!

 
Makes 1 deep fried Mars bar
 
Ingredients:

1 Mars bars or 1 Milky Way bar
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cornflour
1 pinch baking soda
milk or beer
oil (for deep frying)

Directions:

1 Chill the chocolate bar by keeping it in the fridge, but don't freeze it.
 
2 Mix the flours and bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) together.
 
3 Add milk (traditional) or beer (which gives a lighter result) until you get a batter with the consistency of thin cream.
 
4 Heat the oil until a small piece of bread will brown in a few seconds, but don't allow to smoke.
 
5 Remove wrapper from chilled chocolate bar.
 
6 Coat completely in batter.
 
7 Carefully lower into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
 
8 Serve, with ice cream or french fries, if you're so inclined.

Fried Macaroni and Cheese Balls Recipe!

 
Makes 66 mac and cheese balls
 
Ingredients:

4 quarts water
1 teaspoon salt, divided
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons milk
1 (12 ounce) package cheese spread, cubed
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 large eggs
2 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
peanut oil, for frying

Directions:

1 Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. In large saucepan, bring water and 1/2 t salt to a boil over high heat. Add pasta, and cook 6-8 minutes, or until tender; drain well.
 
2 In a large bowl, combine hot cooked pasta, 1/2 cup milk, cheese spread, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper; stir until cheeses are melted. Spoon into prepared baking dish; cover, and refrigerate 8 hours.
 
3 Roll macaroni and cheese into 1-inch balls; place on a baking sheet, and freeze 2 hours.
 
4 In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and remaining milk.
 
5 In a separate small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and cornmeal.
 
6 Dip balls into egg mixture, then dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
 
7 In a large Dutch oven, pour oil to a depth of 2 inches; heat to 350 degrees over medium heat.
 
8 Fry macaroni and cheese balls in batches, 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Deep Fried Snickers Recipe!

 
Makes 1 
 
Ingredients:

Snickers candy bars
funnel cake mix
frying oil

Directions:

1 Push popcicle sticks into Snickers bar from the bottom about half way up.
 
2 Freeze Snickers until frozen solid.
 
3 For the funnel cake batter, you can either buy the mix at the store or make your own batter (there are several one's on recipezaar).
 
4 Dip frozen Snickers into the batter.
 
5 Fry in hot oil until golden brown (just a few minutes).
 
6 Remove from oil and drain.
 
7 Top with powdered sugar or caramel sauce if desired.

Deep Fried Oreos Recipe!

 
Makes 52 cookies
 
Ingredients:

1 (20 ounce) package Oreo cookies
2 cups Bisquick
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
3 teaspoons oil
vegetable oil (enough for deep frying)

Directions:

1 Blend Bisquick, eggs, milk, and 3 tsp oil until smooth.
 
2 Preheat your deep fryer to about 375°F (use a thermometer if you wish to deep fry in a pan).
 
3 Dip the cookies in the batter mixture until totally covered and then place in the hot oil (cookies will float).
 
4 Keep checking and turn over the cookie when bottom side of Oreo is brown.
 
5 Keep a close watch because it only takes a short time to brown.
 
6 Remove cookies and eat warm.
