Butterfinger Creme Brulee Recipe!

 
Makes 4

Ingredients:

1/4 cup crumbled butterfinger candy bar, divided
2 cups heavy whipping cream
10 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1 Preheat oven to 300°F Sprinkle 1 tablespoon Butterfinger pieces into bottom of four ovenproof 6-oz custard cups.
 
2 In medium saucepan, add cream, 7 tablespoons sugar and salt.
 
3 Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
 
4 In medium bowl, beat egg yolks; gradually whisk cream mixture into egg yolks.
 
5 Stir in vanilla.
 
6 Pour the cream mixture through a fine sieve into prepared cups.
 
7 Place cups in 9-inch square baking pan; fill pan with hot water to 1-inch depth.
 
8 Loosely cover with foil.
 
9 Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until knife inserted in centers comes out clean.
 
10 Remove to wire rack to cool slightly.
 
11 Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
 
12 Sprinkle each crème brûlée evenly with remaining sugar.
 
13 Place under broiler until sugar is melted and caramelized.
 
14 Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes or until caramel hardens.
 
15 The cooking time allows for the creme bulees to sit overnight.

Deep Fried Mars Bars Recipe!

 
Makes 1 deep fried Mars bar
 
Ingredients:

1 Mars bars or 1 Milky Way bar
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cornflour
1 pinch baking soda
milk or beer
oil (for deep frying)

Directions:

1 Chill the chocolate bar by keeping it in the fridge, but don't freeze it.
 
2 Mix the flours and bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) together.
 
3 Add milk (traditional) or beer (which gives a lighter result) until you get a batter with the consistency of thin cream.
 
4 Heat the oil until a small piece of bread will brown in a few seconds, but don't allow to smoke.
 
5 Remove wrapper from chilled chocolate bar.
 
6 Coat completely in batter.
 
7 Carefully lower into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
 
8 Serve, with ice cream or french fries, if you're so inclined.

Deep Fried Snickers Recipe!

 
Makes 1 
 
Ingredients:

Snickers candy bars
funnel cake mix
frying oil

Directions:

1 Push popcicle sticks into Snickers bar from the bottom about half way up.
 
2 Freeze Snickers until frozen solid.
 
3 For the funnel cake batter, you can either buy the mix at the store or make your own batter (there are several one's on recipezaar).
 
4 Dip frozen Snickers into the batter.
 
5 Fry in hot oil until golden brown (just a few minutes).
 
6 Remove from oil and drain.
 
7 Top with powdered sugar or caramel sauce if desired.
