Wreck-It Ralph at Bad-Anon!

How many of these video game bad guys do you recognize? Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters this November!

Wreck-It Ralph Trailer -- Official Disney Movie | HD

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in Wreck-It Ralph.

Ralph is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix, the good guy star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he's tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero.

On his quest, Wreck-It Ralph meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun from the first-person action game Hero's Duty. But it's the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Will Ralph realise his dream and save the day before it's too late?

Wreck-It Ralph stars the voice talent of John C. Reilly (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Jane Lynch (Glee) and Sarah Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Program).

Wreck-It Ralph Poster!

OK, this looks fun. "Wreck-It Ralph" tells the story of a 9-foot tall, 643-pound video game villain (voiced by John C. Reilly) who spends his days destroying buildings in a "Rampage" style game. His nemesis is the games' titular hero, "Fix-It Felix" (Jack McBrayer), who cleans up Ralph's destruction and gets the glory. Frustrated by decades of playing the villain, Ralph ventures out into the arcade's other games to show that he can be a hero too.

In addition to Reilly and McBrayer, the film will feature the voices of Jane Lynch as a sergeant in a Halo-like first-person shooter and Sarah Silverman as a race car driver from a candy-themed cart racing game. We can also expect a parade of cameos from classic video game characters (including Bowser from "Super Mario Bros." and a ghost from "Pac-Man"). "Futurama" vet Rich Moore directs the film, out in theaters Nov. 2nd.

Full Text of Glen Keane’s Disney Resignation Letter from Cartoon Brew

With Glen Keane just two weeks ago at The Walt Disney Studios

From Cartoon Brew, Glen Keane, one of the beloved Disney animators of the modern era has resigned. Below is the text of his resignation letter from earlier today:
March 23, 2012
Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Walt Disney Animation Studio,
After long and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to leave Disney Animation.
I am convinced that animation really is the ultimate art form of our time with endless new territories to explore. I can’t resist it’s siren call to step out and discover them.
Disney has been my artistic home since September 9,1974. I owe so much to those great animators who mentored me—Eric Larson, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston—as well as to the many other wonderful people at Disney whom I have been fortunate to work with in the past nearly 38 years.
Over these four decades I have seen so many changes, but the one thing that remains the same is that we all do this because we love it.
I am humbled and deeply honored to have worked side by side so many artists, producers and directors during my career here at Disney, and I am tremendously proud of the films which together we have created. I will deeply miss working with you.
With my most sincere and heartfelt good wishes for your and Disney’s continued artistic growth and success,
Glen
