Vehicle Review: 2013 Kia Rio SX!
Hello Kia fans and soon to be Kia fans! I am back with another car review and this time it is for the affordable 2013 Kia Rio SX! I reviewed the Kia Rio five door last year and loved it and now I got to check out the four door sedan version!
I loved the look of the car! It is very stylish with some aggressive looking lines and fantastic looking 17 inch alloy wheels! I am a small car fan and this car was compact yet very roomy on the inside!
Take a look into the cabin! The version I test drove included leather seats! The front seats were heated but not air cooled.
There is a good amount of leg room in the back for your family or friends! They do not feel too squished in the back unless they are pretty tall.
A very roomy trunk space is seen here! There is more than enough room for all of your bags as you head out on a vacation or just grocery shopping!
This is my average miles per gallon which is less than the 33 miles per gallon that the car is estimated at combined city/highway. I did drive mostly on city streets this time but this is still an impressive miles per gallon ratio!
Also, with the car review, I received two ticket to a taping of The Voice here in Southern California! Kia is the automotive sponsor of the show! This was my first time watching a TV taping that was live and wow the pace is fantastic! The seats were amazing and we had a great view of the celebrity coaches! I wish I had photos to share with you but cell phones were not allowed inside! But I can tell you that the experience was amazing and my friend and I had an amazing time! Thank Kia for the vehicle to review and for the tickets!
Overall, the 2013 Kia Rio SX is a great car! It is a fun car to drive! It handles well, traveling on the freeways of Southern California was not a problem! The navigation system came in handy as we drove through Burbank, Los Angeles and Hollywod! The1.6L GDI 4-cyl engine had more than enough power to get onto the freeways and maneuvering through traffic. Honestly, there is so much more power in today's 4-cyl engines than my own car!
The Kia 2013 Rio SX I reviewed came in at $21,340.00 with all of the options mentioned above! The Kia Rio starts at $13,600 so you get a ton of great options for less than $7,000 more! Plus, all Kia's come with that amazing 10 years/100,000 miles limited powertain warranty!

As with all the Kia's the dashboard is nicely laid out. Everything is easily within reach! I love the push to start! It makes the car feel so Euro in my opinion and such a great convenience to have. I also love the metal pedals! It just gave the car more of a sports car feel!
The rear camera display is still one of my favorite features, as is the Sirius Satellite Radio, the navigation system with Sirius Traffic, your USB and auxuilary input jacks and of course the bluetooth wireless connection for your cell phone!
There is a power tilt/slide sunroof! I wish I could say it let in a lot of sunlight but as you can see June gloom was in full effect! But if it was sunny out I can see the sun coming in to light to shine on everything! This is my average miles per gallon which is less than the 33 miles per gallon that the car is estimated at combined city/highway.
