Game of Thrones Creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to Write & Produce a New Series of Star Wars Films

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are going from Winterfell to a galaxy far, far away.
It was announced today that Benioff and Weiss, creators of the smash-hit, Emmy Award-winning television series Game of Thrones, will write and produce a new series of Star Wars films.
These new films will be separate from both the episodic Skywalker saga and the recently-announced trilogy being developed by Rian Johnson, writer-director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi
“David and Dan are some of the best storytellers working today,” said Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm. “Their command of complex characters, depth of story and richness of mythology will break new ground and boldly push Star Wars in ways I find incredibly exciting.”
“In the summer of 1977 we traveled to a galaxy far, far away, and we’ve been dreaming of it ever since,” Benioff and Weiss said in a joint statement. “We are honored by the opportunity, a little terrified by the responsibility, and so excited to get started as soon as the final season of Game of Thrones is complete.”
No release dates have been set for the new films, and there have (thankfully) been no sightings of White Walkers around Lucasfilm.

Emilia Clarke Joins the Han Solo Stand-Alone Film

Emilia Clarke is heading to a galaxy far, far away -- and she's going to meet Han and Chewie.
StarWars.com is excited to announce that Clarke, known for her stirring portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, will join the upcoming untitled Han Solo Star Wars movie. Clarke's role will round out a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.
Clarke joins Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover — previously cast as Han Solo and Lando Calrissian, respectively — in the highly-anticipated film, which is set prior to the original Star Wars trilogy.
The untitled Han Solo movie, helmed by directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, is set for release in 2018.

A Visit to Whimsic Alley (Los Angeles) - The Worlds of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter Have Never Been Closer!

Inside this ordinary building is a magical world. Come inside and see what's in store...
A world where we have been transported to England. The worlds of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Doctor Who are all in here. You will find something for anyone that is a fan of these shows and movies.
This room is dedicated to all things in the world of Doctor Who. You will find shirts, robes, tea pots, iPhone cases and much more.
But all around here are reminders that it's the world of Harry Potter that gathers the most attention.
Habber & Dasher will have all the various needs of each house in terms on ties, scarves, robes, and beanies.
You will find pretty much every Harry Potter toy here.
There is even a place for bottles of all sorts, tea pots, tea cups and more.
There is also a room for fans of Game of Thrones.
A room of books for all of your Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter reading needs.
There is a bookcase of stationary and even feather quills that are available for purchase.
All the Harry Potter films are here as well.
We are getting closer to the wands. Remember the wand chooses you.
The TARDIS is here.
Entering the wand shop. There are several designs that you will find here.
Which wand will choose you?
A place to hang your broom.
Only brooms may park here.
A trip to the candy store. Here you will find such things as chocolate frogs, strange tasting jelly beans and more.
These bottles caught my eye. I want them all.
Which way shall we go? To Diagon Alley perhaps?
Down the hallway of changing portraits.
It appears to be platform. Perhaps one waits here to board a train?
The Great Hall is ready for a party.
I did notice that the grate is out of order. I guess we shall walk.
This beautifully lit tree lets us know that our time in this magical world has come to an end.

A great place for any Game of Thrones, Doctor Who or Harry Potter fan! Plus, great customer service takes this place to a whole other level!
