Top 10 Food and Drink Options at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2018

The 2018 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is currently underway until April 12th. Here are my Top 10 food and drink recommendations:

10. The Tropical IPA Shandy from The Brewhouse. Sculpin IPA, which already has the taste of grapefruit, is combined with guava and pineapple juice makes this into a delicious beer-mosa. A refreshing beverage to enjoy with the lovely Spring weather.

9. The Beet Kombacha Sangria from Eat Your Greens. Another refreshing beverage that is similar to seltzer water meeting a berry sangria. Oh, and you cannot taste the beets at all.

8. Grilled Asparagus Caesar Salad also from Eat Your Greens. I love grilled asparagus and this combined with Caesar dressing and grated cheese and croutons is a wonderful light and tasty snack.

7. Citrus-Brined Pork Roast with Tangy Barbecue Sauce and Lemon Pepper Slaw from Citrus Grove. The pulled pork is delicious and the lemon pepper slaw is a perfect compliment, plus the portion size is a good one.

6. Meyer Lemon Macaron from Citrus Grove. I will start off by saying I am not a fan of lemon or lemon-flavored items but I am a fan of this lemon flavor that very pronounced and not sour, plus this is a large macaron.

5. Grilled and Chilled Artichoke Hearts with Romesco from I Heart Artichokes. I love artichokes and the grilled flavor with the spicy romesco is a perfect combination.

4. Jalapeno Popper Mac and Cheese with Bacon from Peppers Cali-Ente. I love spicy items and mac n cheese and this is a lovely pairing of the two. You get the heat at the end of each bite and there's bacon so it doesn't get much better than this.

3. Strawberry & Coconut Rice "Frushi" with Sweet Oikos Greek Nonfat Yogurt Wasabi Sauce from Strawberry Patch. This is a delicious sweet dessert. The coconut rice has a near mochi consistency that I love. There is the slightest of wasabi flavor that highlights the sweet coconut rice and strawberries.

2. Salt & Beer Vinegar Parmesan Chicken Wings from Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo. A hearty portion of tasty wings that need a beer to wash them down with. The salt and beer vinegar along with the parmesan cheese is perfect with these large and tasty chicken wings.

1. Popcorn Lemonade from Off The Cob. Yes, this strange sounding beverage is my favorite item from the Food & Wine Festival. It comes in both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. Both are fantastic. When you sip this beverage it tastes like a mouthful of buttery popcorn being washed down by lemonade. Once again it contains lemon that I was not a big fan of but this drink and the lemon macaron have changed my mind. Then when you stir the whipped cream into the drink it becomes even better. I cannot wait to get another one.

So there you have it, my Top 10 food and drink items from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. What are your favorites?

  1. It is very popular to share experiences on social media sites and people rely more and more on reviews and tips from drinks promo codes sites like coupontoaster and facebook. You know of a good restaurant that has good food and happy hour offers, you pass it on.
