Blu-Ray Review: DisneyNature Bears

One of my favorite Disneynature films heads home on Disney Blu-Ray Combo Pack August 12th!
Bears follows the story of a mother bear, Sky and her two cubs Amber and Scout. They have recently come out of hibernation and must make the long trek in search of food.

Movie Review: Disneynature Bears - The Best Disneynature Film Yet!
Video:

The 1080p widescreen video is pristine. One of the best looking blu-ray releases so far this year. The Alaskan wilderness has never looked better. From the mountains to the trees to the rivers, this is one disc you will want to use for demos! The  colors are landscapes are picture perfect!
Audio:

The 5.1 DTS-HDMA audio track is crisp and clean. The narration from Wreck-It Ralph's John C. Reilly is crystal clear as is the ambient sounds out in the Alaskan wilderness.
Extras:

A Guide to Living with Bears - a brief feature on how the filmmakers were able to get so close to the bears without fear or consequence.

How did They Film That? - another brief feature on how the filmmakers were able to get some of their amazing footage by going to the extreme to capture their footage.

Welcome to Alaska - another short feature on some of the specific sites used in the film.

Music video - "Carry On" by Olivia Holt.

Conclusion:

This is a wonderful film that embodies it's heritage in the True-Life Adventure films. It shows us a world that we will never see and brings home the universal message of family.

Bears comes out on a Disney Blu-Ray combo pack on August 12th!
