Hotel Review: Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa (Scottsdale,Arizona)

Time to bring you another Hotel Review! This time I am traveling to Scottsdale, Arizona and the amazing Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa for the 2015 Hyundai Genesis media introduction! This AAA Four Diamond Resort rests on 53-acres featuring 105 spacious mountain and spa casitas, 6 private estate homes, an award winning spa, 4 pools, 5 tennis courts, and an award winning restaurant by Food Network star Chef Beau MacMillan at elements.
Let's head to my room. I stayed in one of the Mountain Suites. They feature over 1,000 sq. ft. of spacious living. I love the wooden door and the frosted window panes.
I love the kitchen alcove. I made great use of the Keurig to make my morning or late night coffee or tea.
This was my living-dining area. The couches were really comfortable and I may have fallen asleep on them once or twice during my stay.
I loved this limestone dining table. Maybe one day I will be able to come back and enjoy room service here. In the right corner where that leather seat is, there is a wood buring fireplace. Seriously, all the comforts of home.
Here is the bedroom. The bed was way too comfortabel as well. It was so easy to fall asleep but so difficult to get up and going in the morning. I want that photo above the headboard. Anyone know where I can get my own framed copy?
Another large flatscreen here and I also love the full length mirror.
His and Her bathrobes even though the room was just for me/ The robe was super soft and perfect to relax in after a tough day out in the world.
These sliding screens could be used to let more light into the bathroom or closed to light some candles and more privacy while using the bathtub.
Look at how large the bathroom is!
It was tough to choose between the mosaic glass tiled shower or the oversized tub. Both are perfect to relax in. They even offer votive candles and signature bath salts and soaps for the tub.
Check out the view from my balcony!
This was the how my first sunrise here greeted me!
I loved the infinity pool!
Here is the amazing elements restaurant.
The unbelievable seared ahi tuna salad. Yes, I ate a salad and loved it! A farm fresh salad that was a massive portion and just perfect for lunch! The sashimi grade tuna was so fresh and flavorful.
This was our venue for the first dinner.
They offer an amazing array of handcrafted cocktails. This is the vodka Mai Tai. Super smooth and pretty dangerous as you can barely taste the alcohol.
Yes, all of the colors here are natural! Believe it or not!
You can never go wrong with a glass of red wine.
The beef was cooked to perfection!
Amazing juicy turkey!
I think I will just take this with me!
Oh chocolate is a weakness. Wait, who am I kidding? All food is my weakness.
Here is the sunset on our second dinner on property. This is Casa Vista and the views are breathtaking!
What a lovely place to enjoy dinner.
Patron margaritas! Don't mind if I do!
Lobster tacos to start!
I cannto get enough of their fresh vegetables. You can tell that it is all organicaally grown.
Jalapeno cornbread muffins!
I took a little bit of everything from fish to bourbon marinated steak, to sweet potatoes and vegetable chili.
No matter where I go I have a little bit of Disneyland with me. The churros were excellent.
The stay was over way too quickly. The ambiance, the impeccable service, the food are more than enough reasons to return. So, from Lil Oishi, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis and Sanctuary, we bid you farewell for now and hope to return soon!
