Apple and Raisin Sour Cream Pie with Crumb Topping Recipe!


Ingredients:
6 cup baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 freshly grated, divided teaspoon nutmeg
1 9-inch prepared pie crust
1 cup sour cream
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  • To prepare filling, combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.

  • Toss with the apple slices and raisins.

  • Place the apple mixture in the pie crust.

  • Loosely cover the pie with foil and place on a foil lined cookie sheet.

  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

  • Remove the foil and place on a rack.

  • To prepare the sour cream topping, beat the sour cream and brown sugar together until well mixed.

  • Pour evenly over the pie.

  • To prepare the crumb topping, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, melted butter, and chopped pecans together and sprinkle on top of the pie.

  • Place the pie in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the topping is lightly browned.
