Origins of name: The camera store is named after Los Angeles' Kingswell Avenue, the street where Walt Disney and brother Roy opened the Disney Bros. Studio in 1923. The studio quickly outgrew its Kingswell location and was moved to Hyperion Avenue in Los Angeles in 1926.
Fictional back story: "We develop photos in a flash," a Kingswell ad proclaims. "Don't miss us. We're in the Elysian Arcade!"
Street address: No address number assigned; described as inside the Elysian Arcade, off Buena Vista Plaza.
What it really sells: Print-on-demand photos of you and your party, shot by Disney photographers, plus cameras and accessories. (Disney's PhotoPass headquarters)
