Review of La Chiquita

Hey Sasaki Time Fans! Here is another food review! This time my friend Dyan and I headed to La Chiquita! My friend Kristi recommended this place and it's a winner! I am a huge fan of hole in the wall places and this is a restaurant that once was a home! And this feels like grandma's home and kitchen!
So many great choices! What to pick?
We started with chips and nicely melted cheese with fresh salsa. There is something about homemade salsa. It reminded me of my dad's and yes though we are Japanese by heritage, my dad makes a mean salsa! Fresh tomatoes and peppers and just a great blend of spices!
I finally decided on the number four combo! It was a taco, enchilada, tostada and rice! A nice mix of everything! The food came out really fast! You can just taste the freshness of each of the items! The taco was clearly one of the best I have ever had! Fresh tortilla that is deep fried and super fresh ingredients! The tostada was great and I like all the shredded lettuce on top of it! The enchilada was fresh. It was like the tortilla was made there! It was so good and very filling!
My friend Dyan and I made sure we tried a margarita! It was happy hour! The margaritas were delicious! totally not watery like most are and full of fruit flavor!

Another great find! Just don't blink or you will miss it!
